The official website of the animated television adaptation of the manga Karakai Jozu no Takagi-san by Soichiro Yamamoto has revealed that the ninth volume compilation of the original work will have a special edition that will include an OVA. Its launch is scheduled for July 12.
The OVA will be a kind of spinoff of episode 7 of the anime, when Nishikata helps Takagi to choose a swimsuit and she asks him to go one day together to the beach, to which he responds timidly.
The anime was released last January and ended this week with its episode 12, having been Hiroaki Akagi the director under Shinei Animation.
